Gifted-Postcard
The underlying concept of the postcard practice is the presentation of original art as a gift as an alternative to artwork's primary purpose being commodification. Regularly I create series of handpainted postcards that I ship using the US Postal service to randomly chosen recipients, providing them with unsolicited mail art... and hopefully a smile.
